HAT-TRICK FOR FIX AUTO

Paul Siemonek, former head of VWG paint & body performance team, has joined in the position of head of key accounts, reporting directly to Ian Pugh. He will oversee all of Fix Auto UK's central insurance contract relationships.

Paul Smith, who has spent the last 15 years working for Direct Line Insurance Group – latterly as area network controller, has taken up the role of key account manager. He will report directly to Paul Siemonek and will support the management of insurer relationships.

Simon Nash, the former general manager at Basingstoke-based R&R Autos Bodyshop, has joined Fix Auto UK's regional operations team and will oversee Fix Auto franchisees in the south east of England.

Commenting on his appointment Paul Siemonek said, 'I'm truly excited about taking up the role. In my first week I was fortunate to attend the National Conference and it was a delight to see first-hand the drive, commitment and passion to succeed from all involved. I've heard it said many times that these are exciting times for Fix Auto and it is a privilege for me to be part of it.'

Paul Smith said, 'Like so many in the industry, I've watched Fix Auto transform itself from a start-up business here in the UK into the thriving force it is today with an incredibly strong brand with an ever-growing reputation. I'm just pleased and excited to be on board.'

Simon added, 'Being part of the Fix Auto network is a fresh challenge and one I am excited about. I've worked in a variety of roles in bodyshops ever since leaving school, so this is going to be a fresh and exciting chapter for me.'

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK concluded, 'Strengthening the team and maintaining our high level of service to our franchisees and insurer clients is paramount. In recruiting the two Pauls and Simon, I believe we have added three individuals with huge amount of expertise and experience who will enable us to drive the business forward and develop our network proposition.'
